The Risk and Disaster Management in the Amazon Graduate Program - PPGGRD / UFPA is unique in the Amazon and has great potential for expansion to other States in the Amazon (Amazonas, Amapá, Roraima, Rondônia, Acre and Tocantins), for this purpose it is necessary to create a master's degree in integration with other educational institutions in these states, using distance learning. But, currently, it is necessary to consolidate the PPGGRD / UFPA in the State of Pará and move to level 4 to establish partnerships with institutions in other states. We were recently consulted by the Legal Amazon Protection Committee (COPAL) for training at the master's level of its professionals in the Legal Amazon, however we inform that we are unable to offer a course abroad in compliance with CAPES requirements.
